It can be made from wide variety of materials such as fibres, yarns and many more. Textile include 3 types i.e. Woven Fabric, Knitted fabric and Non-Woven. So today we will discuss all about Woven Fabrics, Weaving is the interlacing of two sets of yarns perpendicular to each other. The yarn is the lengthwise direction is called a warp and in the width-wise direction is called weft or filling on the other hand, both the edges of the fabric in the lengthwise direction are called selvedges, which securely holds the warp yarns. Parts of Woven Fabrics There are seven parts of Woven Fabrics: First is, Warp in this threads are yarns that is running in the lengthwise direction. Second is, Weft, a threads are the yarns running in the crosswise direction Third is body, it is the main and the very important portion of the fabric containing
